Judy Garland and Elvis Presley never actually recorded a duet of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” together. However, in June 1968, when Elvis was taping his own TV show on NBC (known later as “The Comeback Special”), he wanted Judy to be his guest star as well. They actually were filmed together performing the song, but Elvis’ manager nixed any guest stars being included on the show of “his boy”, and the tape was quickly destroyed.
Only some still shots remained in the vaults. Any recordings were unknown until now. In 2023, a team of audio engineers and historians were able to recreate the recording of Judy and Elvis singing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” using the still shots and Elvis’ isolated vocal track from the original recording. The result is a truly remarkable and emotional performance, showcasing the two greatest voices of their generation.
Although Judy and Elvis never got to perform the song together in front of a live audience, their virtual duet of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” is a testament to their incredible talent and artistry. It is a song that will resonate with listeners for generations to come.

Lyrics
When you walk through a storm hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho’ your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never, ever walk alone.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never, ever walk alone.
